January marks National Mentoring Month, and Champlain Valley School District is celebrating 25 years of Connecting Youth’s mentoring program. The program, founded in 2000, has paired thousands of mentors with local students, providing support during pivotal moments in their lives.

The Champlain Valley School District has announced the selection of Adam Bunting as permanent superintendent. With more than 25 years in teaching and administrative roles, Bunting has spent his entire career educating Vermont's youth.

The new site will elevate the district’s online presence and make it easier for parents, caregivers, students and community members to find important information about the district and its six schools.

The CVSD Early Education Program is now accepting applications for a random prekindergarten lottery drawing for the 2025-26 school year. This lottery is for an opportunity to enroll in one of our school-based classrooms which runs 4 partial days per week.

The new year is set to begin with an administrative restructuring at Charlotte Central School, with Assistant Principal Tim O’Leary transitioning into the lead principal role.
